“Unburden yourself.”

If the Ten of Wands appears reversed, it asks you to take a break from your burdens and enjoy the harvest.
Recognize how your efforts have helped the whole. Then find some time just for you! If you’ve been working hard for a better tomorrow you’ve already proven your service. Working toward a more stable future isn’t worth it, if you are too exhausted to appreciate it. Look around and fully enjoy your comfortable home, and the delicious foods that you eat. Share these moments with people you care about. Taking a break will ensure that you have the energy to be there for others in the future.
Are you taking on more than you can handle, or are you doing it out of a sense of obligation to others?
Do you currently have a heavy workload, perhaps in your career or in your personal life? Remember that it is important to take care of yourself and not let your responsibilities become overwhelming. Make sure to delegate tasks and take breaks when needed.
On the other hand, if you have been neglecting your responsibilities or not putting in your best effort, the Ten of Wands is a reminder that it is time to step up and take action. Your hard work and dedication will not only benefit yourself but also those around you.
The Ten of Wands also reminds us that our actions have consequences, and we must take responsibility for them. Are your actions aligned with your values and beliefs? Are you making choices that will benefit yourself and others in the long run?
Lay down your burdens and lighten up.
Life is not all work and drudgery. Look around you. Be present and aware of all the wonderful things that you can see in front of you. You manifested that! Be proud of the work you do and treat yourself well today. After all, even the titan Atlas got a break from carrying the burdens of the world on his back. This card also advises you to take care of your body and release any tension that has been building up. It’s time for a hot bath, massage or a relaxing nap. Take care of your health. Give your body what it needs.
Finally, the Ten of Wands reversed can represent that you crossed the finish line. Good for you! Something that you have been struggling to carry can now be put aside. It may be difficult at first, but you must learn to lighten up again.
The words here, though well intentioned, only made things worse for me. When you live in a trash can and the advice you read won’t stop talking about looking around at all the wonderful things you have, it’s a bit of an ouch. The writer is blindly coming from the assumption that everyone has access to the comforts that he does. I was trying to utilize the other, more solid pieces of advice offered here, but was just too bogged down by the repeated reminder about my material surroundings being painful. Would be a lot more effective for the writer to focus on something everyone has to be thankful for, like a loving higher self. Certainly not everyone has “wonderful things you can see in front of you”.
P.S curious to see if my comment gets deleted. I noticed any love and light comments I write are saved but whenever I give any sort of constructive criticism, it gets deleted. We’ll see.
